We keep our refund policy simple, transparent and fair. Once your booking is confirmed and we receive your deposit, we immediately reserve your room and your place in the course. Your accommodation, meals, course arrangements and other preparations are made specifically for you.
For this reason, the deposit is non-refundable if you are unable to attend, whether the reason is personal, professional, travel-related, or due to a change in your plans. However, because we consider our students part of our yoga family, we do our best to provide flexibility when circumstances change.
If you cannot join on your scheduled dates
- Booking credit. Your deposit can be kept as a credit for a future course, so you can join us at a later date that suits you.
- Transfer. The credit can be transferred to a friend or family member who would like to attend the course instead. We will adjust your paid deposit toward their booking.
- Online course. If you feel you may not be able to travel to Rishikesh for the next 2 to 3 years, you may use the value of your deposit toward our 200-Hour Online Pre-Recorded YTTC and begin your yoga education from home.
The credit remains valid for 1 year, giving you flexibility to choose another suitable month if your travel plans change. If the price increases next year, the extra increase will be charged and your previous deposit will be adjusted.
Please note: deposits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Future course dates are subject to availability and the applicable course structure at that time.
Booking deposit and payment
- For international students, the booking deposit is USD 100 for our 100, 200, 300 and 500-hour YTTC programs.
- The remaining balance can be paid in cash on arrival in any currency (such as USD, GBP, AUD, EUR or INR).
- For your comfort you may also pay online by Wise transfer or Revolut.
- The school accepts the complete course fee, so any additional payment or transfer charges for the option you choose are kindly borne by the student.
- We accept payment in any currency, such as USD, GBP, AUD, EUR and INR.
Early-bird discounts
- Book 1 year in advance and get a flat discount of USD 100.
- Book 6 months in advance and get a flat discount of USD 75.
- Book 3 months in advance and get a flat discount of USD 50.
- Couples who book 3 months in advance receive a flat discount of USD 150.
- For Indian passport holders, special fixed discounts are available depending on the accommodation category: Budget Room, INR 3,500 per person; Standard Room, INR 5,000 per person.
- Only the discount confirmed on your booking confirmation applies. Discounts cannot be combined unless specifically stated by the school. The applicable discount, eligibility and booking conditions are always shown at the time of booking.
Other conditions
- There is no refund of course fees for illness once the course has started, for language difficulties (our courses are taught in English, so please make sure you have a basic understanding), or for not showing up without notice.
- We have limited seats every month. We prioritise your booking and hold your accommodation for the full month, so please go through the full course details before booking.
- In case of cancellation due to a medical or personal emergency after the course has started, the school cannot refund the tuition fees, as arrangements for meals, stay and classes have already been made. We provide access to the online 200-hour pre-recorded course if you cannot continue offline.
Our intention is not simply to follow a strict cancellation policy, but to make sure that the contribution you have already made toward your yoga journey is not lost. We hope to welcome you to Rishikesh whenever the right time comes.
